so anyone done 10.5" front on a fox?
Good luck with it, short of running a double wishbone conversion that will be a feat. I'm building a 93 Coupe with 18x9's in the front and 18x10.5's in the back and that will be close as it is. Never hurts to push the limits tho.
17x9 rims rub on foxes on the front, at least both my cars have, with no spacers or anything. For my 86 the actual wheel was rubbing on the strut when you cut the wheels hard right, and only when your backing up...
on my 90 its rubbing but i havnt bothered to check what its rubbing on...but it happens when you cut the wheels hard right and going forward
Id definantly stay away from 10's on the front unless you've done the mods necessary to fit such a rim under there...its gonna stick out a little and its going to rub everywhere if I had to make a guess

9inch on the front is pretty much as wide as the stock components will allow, fenders included. You can gain a little on the inside with different (narrower) control arms, but not much. If you REALLY want to do this, I think flared fenders are in your future.
IMO, I think it's going to look funny and probably not perform as well as a smaller, correctly fitted wheel.

on the Coral there was a guy with 10.5 and then he even widened them more to run 315 17's. NBS in Pinellas Park did the chassis work on the car to make them fit. Looked awsume, I believe it was mini tubbed.

That would be Jim Frank. That car has 6-piston Porsche calipers up front, and yes it is mini tubbed in the rear.
