Battery question (n00b)
I know it's gonna seem kind of dumb but my battery is toast. I drive a 2002 Ford Escape XLT. I've never had to buy a battery for a car before so I wasn't really sure what to look for. Currently, my dead battery say 49961 and something about BCI: 45 or something of that nature. Is there anything in particular that I need to look for when buying a new battery? I went to Wal-Mart (only thing open right now that sells car batteries) and the dude working the automotive section was (quite literally) partially retarded. So, needless to say his information was a little mangled and inconclusive. I'll be happy to run outside and grab information if anyone needs it in determining the best course of action.
