Back in a Ford....
Well my selling of the xB came a bit premature due to a recent incident involving a Navigator and my parked car. Figured better for me to get out now before I take a bath on it down the road after 6-12 payments.
My journey started at Bill Currie Ford. The deal on the new car was fantastic, however their idea of "dealing" on my xB was giving me $11k or 'sell it yourself'. Ended up over at Brandon Ford of all places. They were able to get me about where I needed to be on my trade-in AND gave me one hell of a deal on the new car.
So now I'm sporting a 2007 Focus ZX3 S (the 'S' stands for stripped
) in Cloud 9 White. Manual everything with the only option being A/C. Build quality on the new Foci isn't quite as good as the previous years, but overall I'm happy with it and there is nothing else out there that can touch this car for handling and power for the price. The power delivery on the new 2.0l Duratec is quite a bit better than the 2.0l Zetec Foci I am accustomed to.
Plans for the car are suspension and a new gauge cluster w/a tachometer. This will eventually be built to compete in NASA's new Spec Focus Series when the car is paid off and the warranty is up...which is why I went for the stripped model.
So yeah..great to be back in a Focus (again). I do miss my XM radio though.

They've dyno'd about 9whp outta an intake tube on those because of the 100,000 mile ghettofied filter Ford put in them
I love driving the GF's focus when I can even though it's an automatic it's still pulls alot better than the old SPI or Zetec motors
. Anything you can do to a 2.3 can be done to a 2.0 btw, even using 2.3 ranger cranks

Wow... Good Luck with this one. I was down at Brandon Ford the other day and tried to sit in a Focus with an auto. Well....
I hope the stick has more room in it!
