Default Looks like I'll be doing that PI headswap sooner than I though...

Well after driving around today I noticed a little rattling noise comming from the upper part of my motor at lower RPMS, didn't really think nothing of it until I got on it once and smoke bailed from the exhaust and the car stalled when I pressed the clutch, get the car home and let it sit pouring out smoke, let her cool off and start it back up to find that it sounds absolutely normal..

Broken valve guide FTL, oh well, I wanted to do PI heads anyways!

Now, anyone that knows of some PI heads, intake, timing chain, etc. for sale for a reasonable price, please PM me

Well my friends dad has a skiboat with a 351boss motor, and when he broke a valve guide in one of the heads it did the SAME thing mine did, sounded like lots of valvetrain noise, smoked, ran like shit until you let the car sit and let it reseat itself and it was fine for like a month, mine did the exact same, and is currently running absolutely fine. It's weird but I'm not 100% sure that's what it is, still not taking any chances..

Yeah, I knew what to expect when I got it, since it blew up and the kid had a local race shop put together a new motor for him, and he swapped it himself (first motor swap might I add), so I knew it wasn't gonna be perfect, but most of the problems have been stupid ones like wires touching, etc. up until now, which this was probably my fault for over revving it or something stupid..
