Check Engine Light
So about 30 seconds after I start up the new whip, the Check Engine light comes on. I pull over and pop the hood, check the engine and it is still there...at least half of it is. : I get back in the car, fire it up and all is well. Then, 30 seconds later the light comes on again. So I pull over, pop the hood and check the engine and it is still there. DC al code
Sure does take a long time to get anywhere.

Hmmmmmm. I thought it was the dizzy but maybe you are right. I don't really recall seeing the carb before but then I don't know where to look on a 4 banger. I may have to check the Briggs&Strattononline.com techline and see if they have any suggestions.

Dirt said Dizzy! HAH!
It's because of all the Steve Irwin memorial shows. I think I'm becoming Aussie. So much so that I'm even beginning to like the looks of the new GTO...
Not!
Oh, BTW, the evil check engine light has been defeated by superior Dirt intelect and perseverence. I showed it the Pimp Hand!
