Default EFI or Blow-Thru ?

I'm at the point where I don't know in what direction I want to go ..

I could do a MAF setup and a Tweecer or maybe Megasquirt ..

Alot of people have been having really good luck with the MS II and honestly i'm way more comfortable tuning a MAP based system thana load based MAF setup ..

I also see alot of people having pretty good sucess with Blow-Thru setups on TurboMustangs ..

So what do you guys think ?

Motor is a Stock Block (for now) 302 , E-Cam , GT40P's , GT40 Intake , 1.7 roller rockers ..

Eventually it's going to get an R-Block and forged internals , but I would like to see how far I can take the stock motor for now .

I'm pretty sure seeing 400-450ish WHP Should be enough to get this thing to Trap well into the 120 Range and into the 10's as well ...

Car will mostly only run Pump gas , Will see C16 at the track for a couple cracks to break teh block in half lol

I'm running a 3½" Pro-M Univer blow thru with 50 lb injectors and using Tweecer. It works pretty good. There's a bit of a learning curve with the Tweecer if you don't know anything about ECU's like me but it falls into line pretty quickly. There are a couple of good support boards and a yahoo group for it. You can pick up a used R/T for about $450. Tuning WOT is really easy while the idle and drive around stuff is a little more involved but not much.

This is what I was thinking as well .. I'm trying to find a bit more info on how well the EDIS is working on higher HP applications . I know when I ran MSnS on my MR2 I was having spark blowout issues above 18psi ..

I think for now I'm going to run a Pro-M with some 42's or 50lbers and a Tweecer for now . I'd like to get some tuning in with a MAP based on VE/Load tables just to expand my range a bit ..

Eventually i'll probally go with a Victor Manifold converted to EFI with an Elbow on it for the next motor ..

I wanna see a stock shortblock go 9's

The car is whatever I make it ..

I'm going to go ahead and do a MAF setup with a 77mm or 80mm Pro-M for now as thats what James recomended to me ..

Eventually i'll probally run a AEM or F.A.S.T. setup on the car

So helpful aren't we Scott lol

I've heard some horror stories about blowthru setups , and just as I said , I feel WAY more comfortable tuning on a laptop than I do with jets . I may still try it if I can get Mr.Bryan to sell me his blow-thru setup cheap
