well..I got rid of the flowmasters because of a raspy sound to them.I purchased a set of Pypes mufflers and although I do not have AS much raspiness (sp?) It still is a bit too raspy for me....I think I might go back to a conventional H pipe vs. the X pipe installed now.....so...lesson learned !!! X pipes are definately rasppier(sp?) than H pipes!!! believe me!!!
and again...Ford did a great job on the s197 undercarriage design.......much more room to work under and accessability is greater than previous years!

 

Any Hp gains/loses??

 

I have not had it on a dyno yet...I'm sure I've gained atleast 30 hp with the cai, chip and exhaust.......

I agree. i went around listening to exausts before i bought mine.. i havent heard one x pipe set up that i really liked... my favorite was the offroad H with the 40 series flows.
