Default Thermostat

Is this the termostat for a 87 5.0? I was told the t-stat was on the heat outgoing from the block (the one on the top of the block) but the one I am thinking it is has two blue wire coming from it. (I will take pictures if necessary)

Is this the wrong t-stat or am I looking at the wrong place?

yea it is.. I was looking at the wrong thing. There is two 1/2" (head size) bolts. The problem I am having now is there is a little 2" hose from the waterpump to the thermostat housing which is sooo stiff that I am having trouble removing the t-stat housing....
