I have been looking for a sand blasting cabinet, but found one being sold as a bead-blaster. What is the difference in what I can strip in this thing? Can you use sand in a bead blasting cabinet?

 

you have to watch what material you sand blast, sometimes like magnesium will spark with sand so they use glass beads. The dust can sometimes ignite if you sand blast painted objects. Not sure about the exact applications but I use glass beads on all my stuff and it works great.
