Default Problems with SCT Chip

Anyone here ever have any problems with there SCT chip suddenly acting up? Mine apparently is causing a PCM ROM error....And under aceleration its like the car shuts on and off rapidly. Goin to see if it needs to be reburned tomorow. Any suggestions?
