Getting the most
Hey everyone,
I'm new to the scene. I just aquired a 03 Cobra a couple months ago and I'm trying to get as much HP and torque out of the bolt on mods without having to crack open the engine. Just currently trying to get the most potential out of the car, for the smallest investment. I've been researching, and I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me on the best products. I've just added K&N CAI, other than that it's all stock. I don't plan to race the car, but more to just have fun in it, and perhaps appropriately represent the mustang nation on the street.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I was wondering if anyone had info or suggestions on
1. 2.8" vs 2.75" vs 2.93" pulleys (alluminum vs steel) and (quick change vs standard) along with tensioner puller and shorter belt.
2. Brisk Premimum Spark Plugs
3. Mobil 1 Synthetic vs Redline vs Royal Purple etc..
4. Diablo Programmer Tuner vs others

Most bolt on 03-04 cobras make 450 rwhp. That is being very realistic.I knew people that got a little carried away and sprayed a 100 shot.A good tune will get you far,so go and have it checked out and dynoed.I would save up for a Kenne Bell though, its just an awsome blower!
Yeah, I've been scoping out the Kenne Bell and Whipple blowers street demonstrations on The StreetFire Video Network. I will get one eventually.
Thank you for the information and reply. - Tony

Give Sam @ Coastal a call. Hes the local guru when it comes to mod motors. He also loves to work on carbs cars aswell. Hes got a mustang dyno on hand and also tunes cars via diablo sport. Good luck. Im sure you wont be dissapointed when Sam gets ahold of it.
