Exclamation need some work done to the t-bird

in about 4 or 5 months i will be looking for a someone who will fix my 93 thunderbird... i am posting this now to get an idea on how much it will cost... got a quote from sears a while back BEFORE it broke completely and they said the parts to be replaced were: ball joint/ control arm (both sides), strut rod bushings(both sides) strut rod bushings frame, tie rod end... the estimate was for around $$650 to $$700 parts and labor... i am obviously looking for a cheaper price, will take pics if you want, let me know if you or mabe a friend can possibly do this. thanks Devin

I would suggest checking out the local junkyards to see if you can get replacement parts assuming you want to keep it stock...check cophers or other yards and invest in a shop manual, you might be able to do much of the work yourself to save additional money...is this car your daily driver or do you have a replacement to ride around in?

that is all easy work, instead of strut rod bushings for the same price you can get aftermarket caster camber plates., tie rods are dirt cheap. those repair can all be done with basic tools in your driveway.
