I'm sure he'll get it to hook, just speaking from my personal experience.
I'm sure there are plenty running 9's with 26" slicks.
1.42 is a good 60' time, but try getting a low 1.3x 60' or high 1.2x with the same, the slick will eat itself up.

Either way, just my .02

Well I called today again,and this is the info I got today with the aluma-stars.

fors 5 lug pattern
15x9.....3-4-5 back space
15x10...4-5-6 back space

The other problem is that I have the arospace street kit on the rear,and I might have to put a small spacer to clear the caliper...unless the aluma-star is diffrent than the draglite design.

I'm going to call wels on monday and see what they are recomending to other mustang people running the same combe,and then ask if they can cutom make the wheel with 6.5 back space for me.
