i,m trying to find out how to hook up this lestek alt off fhp car.it is a 130 amp.model 9135df. i'm trying to put it in my 1989 5.0 that has the stock alt.i would apperacite any help.

 

ok there is two plugs one of the plugs has two 10ga black wires and one smaller white wire.Cut the plug off them put rings on the two black wires and hook them up to the pos side on the alt then hook the white wire to the white wire from the alt plug there should be a smaller one wire plug then plug the other stock plug in and your good.But you will also need to run a 4 ga wire and a 175amp fuse from the pos side on the alt to the battery or the black wires will start a fire.For any more help PM me

the alt i have has a post for battery on it , and two prong wire hole on the back of it.the hole has a letter R next to it . i belive that is for the regulater. my friend gave to me for car said he thought it came off a fhp car.the thing funny about that is it says it is a marine alt on the back of it.

 

Doesn't ring a bell. You might take it into an alternator shop and see if they can tell you what it is.
