Got what I hope is a simple question about my 89 GT regarding the wire to the A/C compressor.
My car doesnt have the rectangular plug on it that goes to the compressor. The wiring dead ends at a round two prong plug that would be near the battery tray. Is the harness that actually goes to the compressor just a simple jumper harness that connects to this round 2 prong to the compressor? It doesnt have anything in it like a diode or anything does it?
I havent found a 5.0 Mustang in the junkyard to compare, all I can find are LSCs and they are wired totally different.

I looked in My Haynes and My Chilton.... I even popped my hood to look. I removed all of the EFI wiring stuff when I did my swap. I am in the same boat you are in. I have that little round plug hanging there because I was a TOOL and tossed out the wire that ran from the top of the compressor to that plug. I will keep looking.
