Last i checked you dont "need" anything but you can go with either x or h it dosent matter

yea i know...i just want to get rid of the cats...they r brand new but if i can get a used x pipe for like 50 bucks ill buy it

so look in the ford tech for sale, or post a WTB in there and post what year car see what pops up, also you can check stangnet.com and corral.net the other two places i look when i need something but those guys are all nation wide soo you have to pay shipping.

i persoanlly wouldn;t recommend an x pipe on a mod motor, they are incredibly noisy, i usually prefer h-pipes on them

X pipes tend to make more of a raspy sound and H pipes are a little deeper. I like my X though.
