I think it was 91 that they went to them on the 5.0's. Just go to your local parts store and have them pull one. Easy to see the smaller size and I think I am right on the year If not go up one year . I know for sure 93's have them.

you have to run one extra wire for the solenoid.

bolts up the same, just have to run an "exciter" wire from your solenoid, around your Kmember to you the starter. If you forget, the car will only turn over, it wont "crank" or engage.... you can get them from Hutcherson auto electric on 50th street for like 90$ with a year warranty....
