Tranny temp?
I have a Performance Automatic Competition C4, with kevlar bands. a 3000 stall TCI converter. Tempture guage is an Autometer, the temp sender is about 8" from the transmission on the hot side, runs through a IIRC 8 pass cooler infront of the radiator, all but 2 of the passes are in direct airflow through the grill.
Driving around today the temperature of my transmission fluid got to 210deg F. I know this is a little high, but being a performance trannsmission with kevlar bands is it too high? I have a second cooler (6-pass) i can put on if necessary.
