Speedo cable goes pop!
Well I found that you can snap a speedo cable in a mustang rather quickly while getting onto I4 today...... How hard are they to replace and any pointers to make the removal and install easier?
not too hard to replace and they're only 13 bux and change at discount auto parts.
if you need help I'm off wed and thurs, pm me
I think it's easiest to pull the cluster, I've seen guys with little hands get the old one off and the new one on by snaking they're hands through the "underdash" but my big baseball mitts won't let me do it that way!

Same here I was able to get my hand up there but I don't know what holds it on to the back of the cluster and I can't find any literature on how to get it off. The car was originally a T5 w/cruise then it was switched to an AOD w/cruise, not it has a TKO600 and no cruise.... do I still need the cruise control speedo cable or can I just pick up the standard one?
