Okay, so i need to get the gas out of my gas tank and i dont just want to drive around for 250+ miles....i tried siphoning the gas out, but every time i try to put the tube in the tank it gets stuck up on somthing before it hits the gasoline...is there any special trick in this simple task? im pretty stumped.

I'm pretty sure there's a gas theft prevention device in the filer tube. Unhook the fuel line up front and connect the pressure line to a rubber hose and feed that to an empty gas can. put the ignition into the on position. Let the fuel pump do the work.

 

Pull the line from the fuel rail and let the fuel pump drain it into a gas can. carfull the system will be pressureized were eye protection.

couldent you just pull the gas line off the frame after it comes out of the filter and then turn the ign. on??? That way if you spill gas your not getting it all over your engine and car it'll at least go on the ground?? Dont know anything about the newer cars but its a thought

wear some sort of eye protection if you let the fuel pump take the gas out!!!!!!!!!!!!!





seriously it sucks being shot in the face with gas..my eyes were burning for a while..
