Ok so both my door handles broke on my fox and i need to know how to change them, If ne1 could give a link or explain how to change them it would help ALOT and be really appriciated. Thanks

lift the handle from the outside, drill out the 2 rivets that you will see, reomve your door panel, remove old handle, replace with new handle, but make sure you place the rod on to the the new handle, and now you can either rivet the new handles on, with a large rivet gun, not the usual one you buy in the parts store, it needs a larger one, or you can do what I usually do, and use a panhead bolt and a locking star washer with a nylon sleeved nut. Replace the door panel and stand back check out the work and Badda boom, your done. Anything out on the market is better than the stock crappy ass aluminum, alot of the handles now are stamped steel, so they should last a bit longer. But if they dont, again there easy to replace. those enormous ass rivet guns have some kick, if you use one be careful, have someone hold the business end of it.

if you plan on having the car for a while do yourself a favor and buy the metal door handles. some dont require a rivet gun they have keyed bolts making it easier. either way its an easy fix.

 

yea no way ima go w/ the stop plastics peices of shit, but thats the only complaint i have bout the fox so its worth it.
