To what extent can you....
To what extent can you modify a speed density car before it starts to give you problems?
I know that Cams are almost out of the question (unless you guys know differently)
But what about modifications to the heads like rockers or springs, intakes and stuff like that?

speed density is actually better for performance than mass air. I oul do heads, e cam, itake, 24 lb inj, fuel pump, exhuast and get a tune

I don't know what it is man but piercy has the car right now and im telling you its the best thing we've done for it in a long time. He has fixed all of the stuff that every other shop cut corners on and I only owe him 50 bucks up to this point. major props to him for helpin me out
He wants to take it back to speed density because no one can figure this issue out which is why I asked the question.
The guy who assembled my engine - did not shim the rockers and it is probably causing the valves to hang open because they are tightened so tight. Piercy has already informed me hes gonna go back through everything almost to look for problems. If anyone can fix it, its him

I know someone running an F cam, GT40p heads (w/ crane RR's, etc), 24lbs injectors, exhaust, fenderwell intake, HV oil pump- all on a speed density system. All that was done was some fuel pressure adjustments, and hooking up a timing light to make sure everything was right, and it doesn't run overly rich or anything. Daily driven too.

it will idle like shit until you get a tune, and it will run a lil on the rich side, a e cam has more lsa than a f thats y a e sounds bigger. you should be fine with a good tune
