Yea its an HP Holley its got jet extensions

 

i had the same issue with my EFI car running NGK's in aftermarket heads

 

Sounds like somewhere in the carb, I had the same kind of problem on my Holley a while ago. What size carb do you have? Have you played around with the squirters and the pump shots. Sometimes when you leave its on the primary circuit and then when you transition to the secondary circuit takes over there can be a bog from a weak vac signal. Thats what happened to mine and had Barry Grant advise me on it. He did live in St pete at one time.

 

I have a tranny brake in my car. So i stage my car and hold the tranny brake and push the pedal to the floor and the 2 step kicks in at 3300 i let go of the tranny brake and the 2 step shuts off. the car launchs but goes no where till about 100 feet out then takes off. I think there is something wrong with this bull shit tranny again worst fucking money ever spent.

 

well the new rear is in off to grab some food ,fuel and off to the track.
