Default Throwout Bearing

Just wanted to know if i can use a stock throwout bearing, like one bought from auto zone on a car with more horses than stock and with a king cobra clutch???? i need to do mine bad its getting worse and i need a quick fix, just wanted to know if this is asking for trouble or will get me by for a few months till i get a good quality clutch kit. thanks guys
