Default nitrous on 88gt

A buddy of mine has a 88 gt with a 150 wet shot that he has not sprayed yet. How many degrees should i retard the timing and should i go with a colder range spark plug? any other info would be much appreciated.

John.

I ran autolite 23's and went 2 degrees for every 50hp shot (about 6 degrees retard for you) which of course depends where you're running your timing now. I also suggest an adjustable fpr, it's good to run rich!!
