How far along is your build? What are you using for a master cylinder?

just started on some riviting and the front suspension. im not sure what master cyl. we're using but we got the breeze "master kit" i think it's called, comes with everything. why do you ask?

Getting the front/rear balance is the hardest part of the brakes. Go with the CNC dual master cylinder from Forte's if you can. That's the easiest way to get them balanced. If not, you'll need an adjustable proportioning valve of some sort. It is REALLY important. I just finished the new brakes and started with the prop valve all the way up. The breaks felt great until I stepped on them hard and the rears lockt up. Let's just say that it wasn't a fun ride at all.


If you're planning on doing any sanctioned racing (like scca autox and the like) I'd recommend switching to a single full width roll hoop rather than the double bars. The double bars aren't legal. The full width hoop is. It's a lot easier to do now than it is later.
