Need some past experiences.
Here is the deal. Below are the pictures of the pistons pulled out of my all forged 351w. This is the motor that had a severe oiling problem and was ripped apart at 500 miles. I haven't picked up the block from the shop yet so I haven't had the bores mic'd. The pistons cleaned up relatively easy. There is some skirt scuffing you can see on each piston. You can't feel anything to the touch its hardly visible. I ordered a new lvl 10 block from D.S.S and a 393 stroker kit from CHP. Here is my question. With a little scuffing on these pistons are they garbage? Can they be reused in another motor?

I know there is a glare from the flash but you can see the scuff lines in the skirt I am talking about.
I never figured out how to set the damn date on the camera..... it owns me.

Thats what i was hoping to hear. I am going to have the block checked to see if the bores are fubar or if they can be re-cross hatched. Yeah I have flames on both arms and alot of others. I would have hated life if I had to toss these pistons.
