I have TF twisted wedge, bought em cheap, thats what decided my preference. Had a stage 3 port and polish, and new beehive springs put on, and now they can handle anything I throw at it. But why those over anything else, I got a good deal on them. I dont give a shit what anyone says about this head and that head, all heads have proven to be performers in all classes, and covering every color of the spectrum.

I'd run the wedge heads personally just so you can get away with a bigger cam w/o notching the pistons.

Just remember if you go with the TrickFlows you need the heads, taller valve covers, stud mount rockers and maybe a intake spacer. that all add to the cheap price of the head.

AFR
Edelbrock
FRPP

^ all have quality DIRECT BOLT ON heads.

afr 185's are a little big for stock bottom end. you will need valve releifs cut in the pistons or you might have clearance problems.

Right. Unless he wants to buy the brand new forged pistons I have...in which case he could run like 11.3:1 with some stock AFR 185 58cc heads.

Really though, either AFR 165 or 185, depending on how aggressive you want to be. AFR = teh shiznit.

Everyone is listing track times, w/o mentioning their 800 shot of nitrous.

11.19 @ 119.6 on stock out of the box TW, with an S trim, 10.09@133.6 ported with my T70. I am about to throw on an alochol kit from Alkycontrol, and plan to go 9's at 17#'s. On my TW heads that have about 1300.00 in them. By the way, TFS heads can be purchased in a CNC format from Summit or TEA.

+1 im not going to entertain your suggestion, unless you give me some ideas of what kinda power/or times it might make with the suggested head.

i would like to stay with the stock bottom end, for i dont have the time and money to put into the bottom end....

thanx for the info so far guys...~Troy
