1999 ford taurus batt light at WOT

had a bad negative terminal-fixed

at WOT the batt light comes on and loses power at 4k, the charging system seems to be working properly.... any ideas?

If its charging, and just the " idiot" light is on. its probably a bad stator plug. ( small square plug) on the alternator. It could also be bad brushes....
