Hey.I have a 1996 v6 5speed mustang.I have an opportunity to get a 93 5.0 crate motor.ITs a drop in,turn key and go motor so it has prety much everything but i was wondering what else i will need to make this happen.I know i will need ECM,wiring harness but i dont know what else to look up.I know i will need new motor mounts but i dont know if i will need 93's(since thats the year of the motor) or 96's(kuz thats the year of tha car) and if i will need a different flywheel.....theres just a lot i dont know so if anyone can help it would mean a lot.THanks

 

You will need a different K-member, trans...rear end, exhaust...etc.

 

Oh....i was told i can used the stock trans...??

 

hell yeah....you will need a 94-95 K member

 

Im sorry for sounding mustang illiterate but what exactly is a K member?

 

If you don't know what one of these are then you might want to let somebody else install it for you.......
