Default What Plugs To Use With Nitrous??

well i took my car to the track thursday and i had the bottle full first time on the nitrous at the track .....i have autolite 25 plugs on there the stock ones and the car destroid the plugs only 2 survibe after a really bad nitrous explosion out of the carburator.....what plugs do u recomend to use with nitrous its a carburated 306 with a wet 200 shot of nitrous i also run race fuel too...what plugs are for nitrous and what should i set my timing at ???? help a young brother out

back ur shot down to like a 75hp and check ur plugs before u step up to the next pill.

I use Autolite #24, and I have a 150 shot. never let me down yet. Yes #25 are too hot of a plug and melt downs will get them every time.

you definately need atleast one step colder...but torching the plugs like that...especially with race fuel (100 octane?) means your tune is off quite a bit. You need to see how lean or rich you are and you should also probably pull about 5-7 degrees from where you run NA. Id shoot for 11.5 to 1 for the air fuel.

you cant run an autolite 3923 in a stock head...what heads are on the motor eddie?
