I'm not so sure of that. I was talking to a guy that races alot of SCCA races and the rollbar specs he was telling me seemed to be higher than NHRA requirement.

Just a side note. James (RR) did a bar on a vert that my friend has. The car runs deep in the 10's and is a very well designed bar. 1st few times we took the car to Bradenton tech was all over it. No problems. Even my old fat self can easily get in and out of the car. With the top up, you realy have to look hard to even see the thing.
I have a hatch with a pre-fab bar and I hate it. Nothing wrong with the design. Just a pain to get in and out of it.
