Supercharging a 5.0 explorer?????
Let the flaming begin:
I got an extermely good deal on an s-trim for a 5.0, i recently got rid of the mustang and got this 5.0 explorer so I dont know what to do with the s/c, so my questions are:
1.) Can it be done?? and correctly??
2.) Would it be worth it, or just sell the s/c??
3.) Will the power be noticable in this heavy ass truck??
4.) Anyone know of any roadblocks that might occur??
5.) Will a fox body 5.0 bracket work for this application??
6.) Will this make my vehicle less dependable??
I know these may sound like retarded questions, I have seen a couple on CarDomain and such but id like tos ee if anyone local had any answers

I think it would be cool. I personally wouldn't supercharge a daily driver, but there are a great many who have successfully. The only thing I'm not sure of is hood clearance and accesory brackets. $hawn may be able to help since he's dicked around with Exploders before.

If you cant get the SC then you will just have to make it fit nothing a nice sawsall cant fix and then if it still dont want to go on then we can put it on my coupe.lol
