Arrow Blue Oval Corral Revisited

This was my thread from the last post started on the subject of Blue Oval.

(I'm having flashbacks. Just had a simalar experience but it cost me about $400 in trade in parts. I still use them for used parts if I gotta have but i make sure i get all pricing upfront and I bend Jeff over on every little thing that he says or tells me he'd going to ( give me) B/S. last time he tried to charge me $50 bucks to re install my T-Rex that had all the wires run already and mounting bracket installed already( 2 bolts and a conected wire and your done 50$ my ass). You know F... it I'm done with those guys time to try someone new. Is Race Related as good as everyone saids. i need torque boxes and suspension work done.)


Well guess who I got a call from= thats right Jeff. After reading my post he recognized the name and work and gave me a call. He said he didn't realize that I was unsatisfied with the work. I gotta admit the work they did was Bad ASS they custom made and hid a NX kits for me and finished up a transmission install. I explained that the work was good, the price just always seem to be off, till he explained all the things they did that wasn't on the bill he did give me my moneys worth on the NX install except for the (T-Rex burns my ass) but I felt the unsene cost for the transmission install eat up some of my Tork Box money and that kinda set me off track on were the car is today. So to make things write he told me to buy what ever Tork Boxes I like and he would put them in for free to make things right.

I'll give the guy this, he and I have a love hate relationship over that car.
But he was man enough or cared enough to give me a call and make things right.
He also does do some bad ass work and knows his shit.
Will I take my car back to Blue Oval after the Tork Boxes..........Yes.

And why do these guys ONLY take care of what should be right after they get a bitch slapping on the boards? This goes for a few other shops....

If your customer is un-happy and you know it or something is just not right.....damn it.....make sure it's right! Make the phone call and re-assure your customer you will ensure they are satisfied.. Here is the big lesson for these guys ...........................!!FOLLOW THROUGH!!

I agree, but give it to the guy running both front and back of the shop. He does care about his customers and keeping them, he's kinda stuck in the middle of that whole transition of employee/manager/mechanic/previous owner thing.
