What are the issues with the stock units? On mine the box/cables were pulled off, rods & butterfly valves taken out then the holes were welded. The 96s have plastic IMRCs and the 98s have aluminum ones (not sure on the 97s). Check the F/S forum on Corral. There are guys always selling some. Much less then $225 Good Luck.

I would like to get aluminum delete if I could that way I could use the better of the two styles of IMRC lower gaskets. Any help would be appreciated.
Have you made a post in the 4V Forum on Corral? Some guys might have been there and done that. Maybe even a search on there could help out. Could you take a pic of the IMRCs? Where is the leak?
EDIT: With the boost, you really want those IMRCs out of there. They can even be port matched so the passing air doesnt have that funnel/terbulance effect.

Shawn ditch them. 96-97 were alum and 98 were plastic. I make my own deletes. With a blower you won't even feel the deletes on the low end. But on the top end you'll feel it pull more. Don't pay an ungodly amount for a set of deletes. Make your own. I did my deletes two different ways. (I have 2 pairs). Either take the shaft out and leave the bearing in there and use JB weld (non quick) and let it dry for 2 days. Or take the bearing out and put a plug w/ JB weld. You don't have to fill in the holes between the ports. I've had my deletes on my car forever and it still runs fine. -Mark
