The colors for radio wires are to aftermarket harnesses or if i had to hardwire it in what colors went where? wanna make sure this is done right, not ghetto (like previous owners) where can i get one? how do i find one? anyone have a crap car that has a harness that you could cut off about 4inches so i can see the wire color? get stock harness from junk yard. for cheap. Mine is all cut up too, but I spent the time to trace them all down. I will make a list tomorrow and post for you. Some people should be shot for the use of wire cutters.

yea if you could make a list and i can hardwire it in, that would be great, ill eventually grab one but i wanna make sure they are all the same and they work before i go hackin more and moe shit up, so if you could man, you've came through one time for me help me out man haha

Awesome, as long as its easy like stock ford black wire w/ red stripe goes to yellow aftermarket harness illumination i doubt i can fuck it up haha

ok man this is how mine was wired and it always sounded good. Balance was right so I guess it works.

here we go


Factory wires = Aftermarket stereo wire code


Green w/Yellow stripe = Yellow ( hot all the time )
Yellow w/ Black stripe = Red ( hot key on )
Pink w/ Blue stripe = Green Speaker ( - )
Green w/ Orange stripe= Green speaker ( + )
Orange w/ Green stripe = White speaker ( - )
Light Blue w/ White stripe = White speaker ( + )
Pink w/ green stripe = Purple speaker ( + )
Pink w/ blue stripe (yes that is two) = Purple speaker ( - )
Green w/ Orange stripe = Gray speaker ( - )
White w/ Green stripe = Gray speaker ( + )
..............................= Black to good ground.

I never had power antanna or an amp so I never hooked up the blue wire to anything. Just run it to a power source with the key.
