Hey guys we just finished up my heads cam intake swap.I chose to go with the trick flow package with the track heat intake,twisted wedge heads,and stage one cam.After completion i have some issues.First, i put in a kirban FPR and it came with a marshall fuel pressure guage.Well the guage does nbot seem to be working correctley and is bouncing every where.So there fore we were not able to set the fuel pressure.Im guessing this is why the car back fires every know and then,could that be why?We pulled the number 5 plug and it is really black.So i know the car is running a bit rich.My second issue is every7 seconds roughly the car makes a hick up noise(sort of like hitting the motor with a rubber mallet.It makes the car shake for a half second.I dont hear a single noise from the rockers,so i guess thats a good sign.It does not do it that often just like every 7 seconds.It almost sounds like the motor is hitting something?What can it be?The car has great oil pressure,and is staying really cool.The cam has a healthey nasty ass lope to it.Im just to the point know of taking it to the speed shop and saying fix it!!!!Im just really frustrated.I put a new balancer on today thinking that my stop the thud noise,but no it didnt.Well guys help me out!!!!!!!Ow and timing is set at 10 degrees for the spray.

I would recommend a shop do some tuning to it. I bet it needs a decent amount. If ya have the extra money then why not?
