Too Hot!
Too Hot!
I want to lower the temp the electric fan comes on in my 96. I understand it comes on at 220. I'ld like it around 185-190. I just put in a Fluidine radiator and a 180 stat, new hoses and waterpump. it runs cooler than it did, espicially when the ac or defroster is on.(cause the fan is on.) but without the AC,the gauge climbs up higher than i would like before the fan cuts in. Is there a different sensor for the fan switch with a lower temp range I could put in or maybe and adjustable one even? I'm sure there is a simple fix for this I cant be the only guy wanting to do this. HELP!!!

nice car mang!
You could also take the fan operation completely away from the computer all together. Then put in a fan controller like the DCController FK35.
