Default mustang engine weight.

anyone have any idea what a 302 completely stock with a carb and t5 weighs? also, about how much does the aluminum heads drop off the car once you replace the iron ones?

not to bust balls here but stock with a carb? Aren't they fuel injection?

well, if im not mistaken, the early generation 302s were carb.

but thats not what im getting at.

basically a fuel injected weight is fine, but i roughly need to know what pulling all the FI stuff off and going carb drops as far as weight goes.

prolly like 20 lbs, and head raised the nose of my car about 1/2 inch

ohhh got ya.... I have no idea... I would of looked it up on the internet but I doubt that is something you would find on there... Hmmmm dont know what to tell ya..

but if you trying to reduce weight for handling I heard that it was more important where it sits rather than try to get all the weight. Like if you moved it like 2 inches to the middle and like 2 inches lower. It would help A LOT more than just taking 100 lbs off.
