FI to carb info needed

Default FI to carb info needed

ok what all would i need the swap to and carb setup on my 89 5.0 i would also like to keep the stock gauges working and the a/c too is there a way to cut some wires out of my wiring harness to make the stock stuff work still and what parts will i need to buy i got a carb,intake,and fuel tank from my 85 gt what are some of the other things that will be needed.Thanks

All your guages should work. You will need a elec fuel pump and regulator like a Holley "blue".

You will need intake/carb/fuel pump and regulator/dist./coil/ignition (duraspark or msd)fuel line/in tank pick up (or modify the stock one) valve covers (or modify stock ones)/air cleaner. I think thats about it. I can show you how to wire up the a/c once you get the conversion done. Let me know if you need any help/tips.

i have a 85 gt can i just pull all the parts off it anf put them on my 89 and make the 89 carb that way

Since you never messaged me...... I am using the stock EFI tank and pump to feed my 351w. Aeromotive sells a EFI to Carb regulator to solve this problem.

ok my 85 is now a 306 and its about 350 hp why would i need bigger fuel lines if the motor runs great in the 85 all i want is to put the motor and trans in the 89 and do a few more lil mods so is there a way to use all the stuff from my 85 and the reson for all this is the 85 is very rusted out and need alot of body work so for now that body will just sit.
