Question Mech Fuel Pump/Elec Pump?

I recently ordered my fuel pump among other things from summit and i decided to go with a 130Gph Holly Mech fuel pump. I was going to install it this weekend when i noticed that there was no eccentric inside the chain cover.... I am new to this carb/mech fuel pump setup so i could be wrong but how do i install one or get one install rather than block it off and go with electric?

Should i go with electric??

For carb, go Holley electric. Works great for me.

Im usign the Aeromotive street rod pump on my carbd motor also. seams to be quieter than a Holley pump.

For a carb car? Fuel pressure is between 6 and 7 PSI.
