Takes two people and lots of time....

The two bolts on the hinges on the back of the hood, will move the hood front to back. The latch itself should move left to right. If there is not enough "left to right" room, you will need to take the latch out and open the holes up with a dremmel. It is not fun, but should be OK with those adjustments. If it was on before, then don't mess with the latch. Just get someone to help hold the hood and move it a small amount at a time.
