are there any 2.3T guys on here...i think ive seen them on here before? any of you guys know where i can find a freakin TC,XR7,SVO,XR4Ti locally...im having a hell of a time.

anyways....what kind of times are the local 2.3t guys runnin...dont see them on the road to often

 

There is a nice SVO that works down the street from me but its not for sale. All it needs is a rear tail light.

i had a 85 TC that i sold about a year ago...i wouldnt have sold it had i known it was gonna be this difficult to find another

 

I'm going to be selling my SVO in about 6 weeks. It's definately a driver and not a show car right now. I've had it for 8 years and it's been super reliable. I'm only selling it so I can get a different daily driver. It dyno'ed 221 hp and 304 ft/lbs, though I might take off the (few) speed parts I have on it so I don't get completely hosed on the deal. I'm going to be working on it this weekend to get it ready for sale. Needs some cleaning and stuff.

If you're not in a hurry, just keep an eye on the For Sale section. I'll put it in there to see what kind of interest there is, then it'll go into the Auto Trader after that if it needs to.

 

well to be honest with you guys so i dont waste anyones time im only lookin to spend no more than 2k for something which is possible i know but i havent seen any SVOs for that cheap....if your going that low let me know for sure

2 grand should get you a really nice XR or TC with some good performance parts on it, I'd say. (*EDIT* - Or and SVO that's in uhhh... 'needs help' condidtion.) Assuming equal condition, SVOs are generally the most expensive of the 2.3t cars, unless you get one of the freaky wierd ones, like a 1984 20th Anniversary edition, 1983-84 GT Turbo or Capri RS Turbo. In good condition, any of those would be pretty pricey, ESPECIALLY if you found one of the first two in a convertible...they're about as common as hen's teeth!

Some SVOs are extra rare, too: Blue ones (~69 made, I think), Hertz ones (~34), Comp Preps (hard to say), Canadian ones (756), 85.5's (439)...

As for XRs, the only 'rare' thing I've heard of is finding one WITHOUT a sunroof. I think they called that a Competition Shell, or something like that.
