Engine dyno
I just saw this post...nice numbers!!! Why don't you just spray it, you have plenty of power for the street on motor? Spray it at the track, dirve around on the motor, enve with driveline losses you should still be at about 437 hp.

yeah were hoping for 430, but using a built tranny soaks up a lil more power, i'm gonna spray it for now, then later on boost it. Currently hava 175 pill in it right now, but gonna step up to a 250 i think, what your guys opinions?

Thats alot of CR (11.2) for boost.. Spray it my friend, just Spray it!
500 is pretty good on an engine dyno, but dont be fooled, rear wheel horsepower will be considerably lower, I think when you factor in the 25% drivetrain loss, and weight of vehicle your looking at about 400 rear wheel.

Where did you find the virgin boss block? I understand that it is .030 over now, but did you happen to have it sonic checked? I am wondering how much meat it has compared to a stock block.
I am asking because I have a 1970 replacement boss block that is .040 over now.
