Got Lugs?
So I am pulling another Kid out of a mudhole on 33 near the Lakeland Dragstrip. He has a nice F250, newr body style. I noticed that his F250 only has 7 lugs.....WTF?!? I have a 1997 F250 HD and I have 8 lugs. I thought all F350 and F250's had 8 lugs. When the hell did Ford decide to save 5 bucks and take a lug off each one? The end is here.

My '05 has 8 lug and I know they have been 8 lug since at least '99. In '97 the Super Duty did not exist yet so they offered a 250 that was just a 150 with heavier duty axles, suspension and those weird 7 lug wheels. I think it was '99 they introduced the Super Duty and when they did they left the hybrid 150/250 as a "7700" package option on the 150 and they were marked F-250 Light Duty.
