Default Blew a plug on my 5.4 Lightning

Launched a plug on my 2002 lightning..
The dealer wont repair it with a timesert kit, they tried to get me to buy a new head for 3k. I told them to go F them selfs.
Can somebody reccomend me a shop that has done this repair before with the TimeSert Kit.
Thanks
Dirty

PM your VIN and I'll run an oasis for you. It will tell of any TSB's or Recalls for your vehicle. I'll copy it and email it too you so you can show up with it at the dealer if it does show anything.

Woah....IBTTL

anyways, it is a comoon thing for lightnings to launch plugs cause there are only like 3-4 threads holding them in and when your on a boosted motor that is no good. happened to my friend's truck as well but his sucked it into the cyclinder and caused all kinds of damage. but if your truck was modified or out of warrenty time then you just have to bite the bullet and fix the current head or buy a new/used one.

keep your eyes on www.corral.net in the classifieds section, i see lightning heads/aviator heads going for pretty cheap in there all the time.

Wow, was all that necessary? Could of just said no to the man. But he is the only one that stepped up to the plate thus far. But I would try to either rethread/tap the hole or heilcoil it and trade it in asap! Or bite the bullet on a set of Patriot heads for $1400. It's up to you. And please try not to flame me if you are not a fan of me either.
