Well, I dont post on here hardley at all but I do kinda have a ford. Though I would let you guys know I got my 85 Merkur XR4Ti started last night and idling fine with a MegaSquirt. It really wasnt all that bad and only took me 2 weeks from the time I got all the parts till last night when it fired up FIRST try. The spark is also controled by the Megasquirt box!

 

Let me know how it runs. I'm starting to sound like a broken record on turboford.org (BTW, WTF is going on there?), but no one has results yet.

 

Thanks guys, SPY I'm not exactly sure whats going on but they went down like 2 days after I donated lol. I wish it was back up. Yeah I will be sure to keep you guys posted. I will be ordering a wideband real soon to tune but I atleast got it to idle and its doing great so far.

 

I will be tieing the Wideband into the megasquirt but I will still have to buy a LC-1 as Megasquirt can only read the signal it does not have a converter built in. I may have worded that wrong as I am still learning the system. BTW I used the v3.0 board with a MS 1 chip. I am also using TFI to run my spark through the megasquirt. Its rather easy.
