Default 03/04 Eaton blower on a pre 03 4V motor..

curious to how much work is involved, or if its even worth it, to put the factory blower from an 03/04 cobra onto a 96-98 cobra...i see people who have upgraded selling the blowers for a fairly good bargain and was curious if it would be a solid route to go for that particular year cobra, thanks in advance guys!

The 99+ 4V heads are different from the 96-98 B heads. For the swap to work you would have to swap to 99+ heads and do something for the fuel system. It can be done, but It'll cost ya. Are you looking for a power adder for a 96-98 4V? You could always go with a Vortec SC or a costom turbo kit.

right on...i was unawares of the difference in heads...i like the power delivery of roots style blowers, which is why i asked...how much power is it safe to put down on a stock short block, while im on my curiousity binge about the 4V i figure i may as well ask

it is definately a pricey and time consuming swap. but very possible. goodluck in either route you decide to go with. but if it was me i would go the turbo or vortech route.

i saw that car, its super clean too! i have some business out of town i have to take care of, when i get back i may throw the offer down on it...

on topic...i was also taking a look around at the HP and PTK turbo kits for mod and ohv motor mustangs and was impressed with the numbers, what are your guys' feelings on them...ALSO, can anyone locally here beat the price of their kits with a custom fabbed setup? let me know, i know some you shop owners read these boards, so dont be shy about posting up or shooting me a PM
