Default Which drag shocks ?

I have a 88 coupe with a few engine mods and a C-4, on my chassis i have sub frame connecters, FMS springs and HPM mega bite Jr.lowers. My question is how good are the Lake wood drag shocks and would it better to use 90/10's or 70/30's in the front. The car is not a daily driver and it does see more street action than dragstip.I do have a small budget so i can't go to expensive. Thanks for all the info.

I would get a set of the 90/10's myself, but then again, that's just my opinion.

my vote goes for the Strange 10-way adjustable drag struts...

can be adjusted for a good street ride but yet still have good track qualities as well. not too mention they are damn near the same price as the lakewood's, i have seen them on Corral.net go a low as $200 per set. i got mine for $240 shipped to my front door.

I thought he was asking opinions on which would be better, the 90/10's or 70/30's.

Well I went ahead and ordered the 90/10 for the front and the 50/50 for the rear. But thanks for the opinons. For the springs would it be better to go with coil overs or stay with coil springs. I eventually want to put a tubular K-member so i would have to put coil overs up front but i am not sure about for the rear? If anyone could explain it it woulg be great. Thanks

I am note really sure which ones I have because they came with the car but I will do some research and try to find out. I am sure they are not a drag race shock though.
