Default Question about mustang cobra's.

I was just wondering how much WHP can a stock 03-04 cobra motor make and still be reliable and daily drivable. Not looking for nitrous assisted. Will apreciate all input.

Like (evocrazy1) said. But I wouldn't go any higher without a built shortblock.

i'd say that anything over 600rwhp without a built shortblock and its only a matter of time. also depends on how you drive and how much you like to stay in the boost.

most people like JDL1000 and Terry (78mphg) do a simple blower swap and see and easy 600rwhp with supporting mods.

i say to be completely safe though just port the Eaton and run it at about 16psi and you will see 500+rwhp which is plenty enough to take otu alot of the area cars and yet still get 20mpg when you not in the throttle.

there is a certain 04 Cobra in Houston with 735rwhp running on stock internals and has been that way since Feb. 05' of course he is nitsou assisted. the sky is the limit on those cars, most break a input shaft and Half-shaft before the engine lets go.

Makes me want to puke

99, 01 max on a stock motor = 450rwhp

03-04 max on a stock motor = 600rwhp+

(obvious reasons for the differences between- just stings a little)

He should know. James hooked me up with one of his safe tunes. 620/599tq SAE on boost. Detrimental to tire life though.
